Transparent Pricing Disclosure

We adhere to California’s price transparency regulations.

All prices displayed online or in-store will include all required fees and charges (excluding sales tax, where applicable). We do not add unexpected service fees at checkout.

 

Country of Origin

In compliance with federal COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) laws, select food products—such as fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, seafood, and nuts—will be labeled with their country of origin (e.g., “Product of USA” or “Product of Italy”) on in-store signage, packaging, or product descriptions.

 

Date Labeling Compliance (AB 660)

To reduce food waste and improve safety, California mandates standardized food date labeling. We only use the following terms on products prepared and sold by Olive Tree Artisan Market:

 

• “Best if used by” – for freshness and quality guidance

• “Use by” – for food safety and health concerns
  We do not use ambiguous terms like “Sell-by” or “Expiration Date.”

 

Allergen & Ingredient Notice

All foods prepared or sold in our market comply with the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) and California’s Sherman Food laws.

 

We clearly label:

 

• All major allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, sesame

• All ingredients in prepared, packaged, and bulk items

• Ingredient and allergen signage is also provided near all fresh food displays and self-serve areas

Please be aware that all foods are prepared and/or stored in a shared facility. Cross-contact may occur.

 

Proposition 65 (Chemicals Disclosure)

Some equipment and materials used in our facility (e.g., refrigeration, packaging adhesives, or cleaning agents) may contain or emit substances listed under California’s Proposition 65.

Where applicable, we post appropriate warning signage and product labels in accordance with state requirements.
